Bahama Bay Resort Orlando is a Caribbean style resort community featuring lush tropical landscaping with recreational areas and water features throughout its 70 acres of resort area and gardens, making it a truly beautiful place to stay. Bahama Bay is situated off US Highway 27 and nestling on the shores of picturesque Lake Davenport, an approximate 15 minute drive to Walt Disney Resort and 30 minutes to Universal Orlando, Sea World and the International Drive area. The resort is manned by 24-hour gated security and offers guest facilities worthy of a first class resort with a 17,000 sq. ft. Clubhouse and Recreation Center including lounge area, on-site grill and snack bar. In fact everything you would expect of a resort whilst giving you that feeling of independence and privacy in relaxing surroundings. Great value and ideal for couples, families and groups of friends alike. The Caribbean style buildings are set amidst a lakeside setting with fishing dock, a sandy beach on Lake Davenport, lush landscaping, walking trails and the breathtaking views over Lake Davenport will make it hard to leave! Leisure facilities: Several large heated freeform swimming pools and jacuzzi spas, fitness center, sauna, health spa (local charge for Spa facilities).General: Resort Clubhouse has games room, poolside bar and grill, lounge, Internet café with high-speed Internet access (fee payable), gift and sundry shop, fully equipped men's and women's locker and shower facilities. Guests can watch complimentary DVDs in the clubhouse's mini-cinema on request. Additional leisure facilities include basketball, volleyball, tennis courts, children's pool and a recreation center. The standard 2-bedroom, the San Salvador (1,176 sq. ft.), features two bathrooms, a full kitchen and large living and dining areas. The balcony extends across the rear of the unit with many offering exceptional views of Lake Davenport. The superior 2-bedroom, the Andros (1,394 sq. ft.), is a penthouse apartment with many deluxe features, tile floors and high-quality furnishings. The Andros vacation home features two bathrooms, one en-suite to the master bedroom with corner bathtub. There is a large wrap-around kitchen, separate living and dining areas, and a spacious balcony. 2 Bed Apartment Comparison? The Andros has the same amenities as the San Salvador but is approximately 250/300 square feet larger with larger patios and two large bathrooms (one en-suite) with spacious soaking tubs and free standing showers. The Abacos (1,232 sq. ft.), is a large 3-bedroom home with two bathrooms, one of them connected to the master bedroom. This unit offers two private balconies, a full kitchen, and plenty of room to accommodate up to eight. The superior 3-bedroom Grand Bahama (1,739 sq. ft.), is the largest penthouse apartment, with 1,680 square feet of living area. It has a large master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, and two more bedrooms sharing a large bathroom with a tub and walk-in shower. This home also has balconies off the master bedroom, the second bedroom and the living room. 3 Bed Apartment Comparison? The three bedroom penthouse offers approximately 500 extra square feet of living space and the incredible master bedroom, with full en-suite bathroom offers a private oasis and the second bathroom offering oversized soaking tubs. Each unit has free parking facilities and a private screened-in patio or balcony which overlooks the lakes, swimming pool or gardens. Each apartment is fully air conditioned with climate control and private bathroom/s with bath/shower, cable television and telephone. Two Bed Condominiums feature one queen sized bed in the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and whirlpool tub, two twin beds in the second bedroom, with a double sleeper sofa in the living area, sleeping up to 6 persons.Three Bed Condominiums feature two bedrooms each with queen sized beds - master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and whirlpool tub - and the third bedroom with two twin beds, with a double sleeper sofa in the living area, sleeping up to 8 persons.
