In 2005, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay unveiled SheiKra, the nation’s first dive coaster. Set among the jungle ruins of a once-mighty African civilization, SheiKra will carry riders up 200 feet at 45 degrees, then hurtle them 70 mph back toward the ground at a 90-degree angle. It will be the first coaster of its kind in the Americas and only the third in the world. As the eighth member of the park’s family of renowned coasters, SheiKra will serve as the centerpiece of a new, lushly themed habitat within Busch Gardens’ Stanleyville area. The enhanced area will also include new shopping options and a 500-seat, indoor/outdoor full-service restaurant situated on the coaster’s perimeter, allowing guests to be a part of the action while dining.

RIDES

RHINO RALLYSM: Rhino Rally blends up-close animal encounters with an unpredictable off-road competition that ends with a raging river thrill ride.

GWAZI: Whether choosing the ‘Gwazi Lion’ or ‘Gwazi Tiger’ experience, guests at Busch Gardensâ Tampa Bay encounter six ‘fly-bys’ of the two coasters at combined speeds reaching 100mph.

MONTUO: Feel the ultimate rush on Montu – one of the world’s tallest and longest inverted roller coasters. Height Restriction – Minimum of 4.5ft tall. Other restrictions may apply.

TANGANYIKA TIDAL WAVE: Watch out when your seemingly tranquil jungle journey aboard a 20-passenger boat ends with a sudden plunge down a 55-foot drop, creating a tidal wave that gets everyone sopping wet on the Tanganyika Tidal Wave!

KUMBAO: Try Kumbao, one of the world’s best roller coasters!

PYTHON: This thrilling roller coaster will make you scream through a double spiralling corkscrew and an intense 70-foot plunge…and that’s just for starters!

SCORPION: Feel the ‘sting’ of Scorpion’s terrifying 60-foot drop and 360-degree loop at incredible speeds. Height Restriction of 42” (3.5ft)– other restrictions may apply.

CONGO RIVER RAPIDS: Encounter the swift moving white-water of the Congo River Rapids. Must be at least 42” (3.5ft) to ride.

STANLEY FALLS: Cool off on Stanley Falls. This log flume whisks the whole family through a splashing trip ending in a 40-foot drop that’s sure to get you soaked!

SHOWS

MYSTIC SHEIKS OF MOROCCO: The strolling band plays daily throughout the park and has become popular travelling around the world as Goodwill Ambassadors representing Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. MOROCCAN ROLL a tongue-in-cheek fast-paced modern rock’n’roll stage show.

ANIMAL ATTRACTIONS

SERENGETI PLAIN: Giraffes, zebra, antelope, gazelle, ostriches and other species of the Serengeti Plain can now be experienced closer and in more ways than ever before.

LORY LANDING: This domed habitat showcases a variety of brilliantly coloured birds.

EDGE OF AFRICAO: You can have the most intense safari experience outside of Africa itself at Busch Gardensâ Tampa Bay.

MYOMBE RESERVE: Tour the Great Ape Domain amid waterfalls and through shrouds of mist and fog to get an up close look at these majestic primates.

BIRDS GARDENS: These birds will amaze and delight you with their glorious colours and raucous calls.

BIRDS OF PREY: Take a fascinating journey into the world of rare, majestic & remarkable raptors, from eagles to free-flight falcons – the birds of prey have returned to their newest, most incredible presentation yet!

OTHER ATTRACTIONS

LAND OF THE DRAGONS: Busch Gardens’ 3-storey-tall tree house, an enchanted forest, one-of-a-kind slides, a gentle waterfall, wonderful rides and, of course, friendly dragons! There are height restrictions on children’s rides – maximum height of 4.6ft tall and other restrictions may apply.

SKYRIDE: View the spectacular scenery as you fly through the air from the Crown Colony area to the Congo on the opposite side of the park on Skyride.

KING TUT’S TOMB: Travel back in time to the mysteries of King Tut’s Tomb.

SERENGETI RAILWAY: See the beauty of the Serengeti plains and continue around the park making stops at Stanleyville & Nairobi.

Free unlimited return coach transportation, if required, is available from Sea World to Busch Gardens and vice versa on the Busch Gardens Shuttle Express bus with the purchase of the 2 Park Sea World/Busch Gardens, Orlando 5 Park Flex ticket or Discovery Cove Plus Ticket which includes Busch Gardens.
