The Inn is a golfer's paradise with 27 holes of golf right outside your door and a host of other outstanding courses only a short drive away.

The resort was built in 1962 along the banks of the pristine Crystal River.

There are numerous resort amenities including a 96,000 gallon swimming pool with sundeck and hot tub.

The Plantation golf course starts with a par-72 18-hole championship course alongside a nine-hole executive course specifically designed for training and practice purposes, plus a golf school offering one of America's most successful teaching programmes.  In addition there are around another 10 other outstanding local Florida golf courses where Plantation Inn guests have playing privileges.

Other activities include swimming alongside a manatee - the gentle giants who patrol the warm waters of the Crystal River - or scuba diving, snorkelling, fishing, a boating excursion to a secluded island for a picnic lunch. 

A game of croquet can be played on the exquisitely manicured croquet lawn, volleyball, shuffleboard. You will never have to look far to find something fun to do at The Plantation Inn.

Dining: The main restaurant, the Savannah Room, offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fresh ingredients combined with a relaxed, informal atmosphere and excellent friendly service make this a delightful setting for any meal.
